Vikings Vs. Giants Score: Live Updates, Game Stats, Highlights, Analysis of Christmas Eve Clash

The Minnesota Vikings host the New York Giants on Christmas Eve and have a 10-7 lead at halftime.

A week after pulling off the biggest comeback in NFL history, the Vikings jumped out to a 10-0 lead in the contest, thanks to the exploits of Justin Jefferson and TJ Hockenson, who caught 12 passes for 123 yards and a touchdown (by Hockenson) in the first half. Jefferson became the Vikings’ all-time leader in single-season receiving yards, surpassing the record previously held by the legendary Randy Moss.

The Giants struggled to move the ball on the first few drives of the game, which ended in a pair of punts and then a lost fumble. But they got back on track with a 10-play, 69-yard drive that ended with Daniel Jones escaping pressure and finding Isaiah Hodgins for a score in the front of the end zone. Hodgins racked up five receptions for 63 yards and a touchdown before halftime. New York almost came away with a big defensive play late in the half, but a pass interference penalty wiped it off the board.

So, can the Vikings hold on to their lead, or will the Giants pull the upset? We will find out soon. In the meantime, keep it locked to our live blog throughout the afternoon as we keep you updated with stats, scores and highlights.
