Gamers and enthusiasts looking forward to the next budget offering from Nvidia need not wait much longer. After a period of speculations and rumours, the successor to GTX 1060 will be announced this January.

Andreas Schilling teased the logo for Nvidia RTX 2060 on Twitter and has confirmed that marketing material for the smallest Turing card has started to arrive at the manufacturer’s marketing divisions.

This indicates that the card will support Ray-Tracing Technology, despite experts claiming it will simply be called GTX 1060. Andreas Schilling has also said that the card will have 6 GB VRAM, similar to the 1060. Moreover, it can also be concluded that the RTX 2060 will be announced during the second week of January, right after CES 2019.

Stay tuned for further updates.
