HAPPY NEW YEAR Everybody!!!

If you are reading this, then you are reading IndianNoob’s last post this year (along with this one). And what better way to sign off than to talk about free games. The January 2015 slate for the promotion (via Major Nelson) includes two free games for Xbox 360 and one free game for Xbox One like usual.

Xbox One:

The Xbox One will be getting the sometimes strange, sometimes very strange puzzle game Dark Dream Dont Die. Also known as D4, the adventure game puts players into the shoes of private investigator David Young. After his wife’s murder, he finds himself able to travel through time. He’ll use this new-found power to prevent his wife from being killed. D4‘s story is spread over three episodes. Developer Access Games may release additional “seasons” in the future depending on the reception of this initial run. The game also has Kinect controls inbuilt.

Xbox 360:

Xbox 360 owners will be able to download motocross racing game MX vs. ATV from the 1st of January to the 15th of January. The game allows Players to ride officially licensed bikes on tracks that evolve with each lap. The online races support up to 12 competitors.

Witcher2

Things get little more rosey, or should I witchery on the 360 front later in the month with Witcher 2: Assassins Of Kings. The CD Projekt Red made RPG is one of the best reviewed and critically acclaimed game that was released on the 360. Its a great deal, and if you haven’t played the huge branching, sex-filled, magic ridden adevnture, I suggest you clear up some bandwidth come January. Witcher 2 will be available from 15th of January to the end of the month.

Its a great deal if you are an Xbox 360 player and have never played The Withcer 2. If not then its another one of those Meh! months. Though if it makes you feel any better, Sony doesn’t have a great PS Plus lineup for January either.
