The Bengals and Bills have one half of their divisional round playoff showdown in the books. Through two quarters, Cincinnati Snow had control of this game in Buffalo, thanks to a gangbusters start out of the gate.
Joe Burrow led back-to-back touchdown drives to start the game, while the Bengals defense held the Bills offense to three-and-outs, giving Jack Taylor’s team a 14-point cushion at the end of the first quarter. Josh Allen and company were able to find a rhythm on their third possession as the quarterback ended a 13-play drive with a goal-line touchdown. However, Cincinnati responded by going down the field to kick a field goal to extend the lead back to double digits before halftime.
The winner of this matchup will meet the Kansas City Chiefs in the AFC Championship Game, but the spot in that game will be determined by the results of this head-to-head. If the Bengals lose, the match will be played at Arrowhead Stadium. However, if the Bills win, the conference title game will be played on neutral ground at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta.
So, will the Bengals hang on to the lead? Or will Buffalo bounce back in the second half of them? We are about to find out. Check out Sunday’s live blog as this game continues to unfold. Below, you’ll get expert analysis and real-time highlights of all the top plays.
