Each city will herald a champion of their own, who will get to compete directly in the Grand Finale. There will also be 4 online qualifiers for selecting 4 additional players for the Grand Finale. Online qualifiers are there to provide a fair opportunity to players who might miss out on the offline qualifiers for the respective city, besides accounting for players who want to participate but do not stay in the 12 cities earmarked for the qualifiers. The Grand Finals kick off on July 15, 2018 – the same day as the FIFA World Cup Finals.
The Grand Finale is all set to establish a trend for e-sports like no other tournament ever could. A luxury resort in Gujarat – the Lion’s Den – will be the venue for the Grand Finals, which is set to last 3 days. The Finals will be streamed in a mini theatre for gamers to witness the action unfold on the large screens before their eyes.
