Ninja Theory, a Cambridge based independent video game studio, recently revealed a new cinematic trailer for their upcoming action-adventure game Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice.
The trailer (above) sees Senua overcoming from her own disturbing nightmares, showcasing a huge giant we never seen before.
Ninja Theory’s self-proclaimed “AAA independent game”, Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice, seems to have most of the ingredients that needs to make a great game: Dark Souls-esque combact and a Gothic-like world incorporated by Norse and Celtic themes.
The game focuses on Senua’s psychotic mind, as she embarks on a journey through hellish underworld. It’s been developed by a mere team of 20 peoples, who previously developed games like DmC: Devil May Cry and Enslaved: Odyssey. You can check out the game’s PC requirements here.
After 3 years of independent development Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice will finally release for PS4 and PC on August 8th for just ₹729 / $29.99.
