Gamescom 2017: Microsoft announced their gamescom lineup

Microsoft has announced its Gamescom 2017 lineup with 27 playable games available on the showfloor including Forza Motorsport 7, Age of Empires: Definitive Edition and Sea of Thieves.

They are also hosting a live stream event celebrating Age of Empires’ 20th anniversary.

Xbox @ gamescom Live

Tune in on Sunday, August 20, at 9:00pm CEST, 12:00pm PDT, 12:30am IST to a special Xbox @ gamescom live show to get latest news and announcements on Xbox One X. The show features some games to show off, news to share, fan-favourite developer interviews and giveaways.

Age of Empires @ gamescom Live

On Monday, August 21, starting at 9:00pm CEST, 12:00pm PDT, 12:30am IST Microsoft will celebrate the 20th anniversary of the Age of Empires franchise with a special livestream event in Cologne. The livestream will also gives our first-look at remastered edition of Age of Empires, which was announced at E3 last month.

Xbox FanFest @ gamescom

Microsoft is again hosting an Xbox FanFest experience for their fans who are attending gamescom 2017. FanFest will begin on Tuesday, August 22nd. More details and plans about the show will be revealed later.

Xbox Booth @ gamescom

Microsoft also hosting a hands-on event where gamers will finally get their hands on newly unveiled Xbox One X. The Xbox One X hands-on booth opens at Koelnmesse on Tuesday, August 22.

Here are the booth opening times:

• Tuesday, August 22 – 9:00 a.m. until 7:00 p.m. CEST (press/trade only day)

• Wednesday, August 23 – 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. CEST

• Thursday, August 24 – 9:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m. CEST

• Friday, August 25 – 9:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m. CEST

• Saturday, August 26 – 9:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m. CEST
