Indian LAN Finals were held on September 8-9 at the LXG Gaming Café, Bengaluru, India’s prominent gaming lounge. The LAN finale concluded with a nail biting battle between OpTic India and Entity Gaming with OpTic India emerging as the final winner. The winner OpTic India wins an all-expense paid trip to Shanghai and a chance to win the coveted prize pool of USD 100,000.
Unlike the first two editions of the competition, with this year’s Extremesland, Zowie expanded the competition a step further with four Offline qualifiers which took place in Gaming Zones at Mumbai, Hyderabad, Bhubaneswar, and Jaipur, following the online qualifier. The four finalists of the ZOWIE Asia eXTREMESLAND 2018 – Indian Qualifiers were OpTic India, Entity Gaming, Team Brutality and Slaughter Rage Army. This year’s tournament witnessed commendable gameplay and all four teams from the LAN event were awarded with ZOWIE gaming gears like Mice, Keyboards, Audio Systems, Mouse pads and CAMADES. Mr. Rajeev Singh, Managing Director of BenQ India Pvt. Ltd, presented the winner, OpTic India with the tickets to Shanghai along with Zowie gaming gears.
eXTREMESLAND is a unique tournament which provides a platform to the best e-sports talent in India to showcase their potential and compete at APAC level. The finale will be held in Shanghai on October 18-21 where 16 best teams from around APAC will compete for a prize of USD 100,000.
